ChemFluid® cutting and grinding oils are as clear as water, free from aromatics and active sulphur, safer for operators.

GROUP III NEAT OILS

VEGETABLE BASE

CUTTING AND GRINDING OILS BASED ON GROUP III HYDROCRACKED OILS.

Compared to conventional mineral oils, Group III HC oils offer oustanding benefits:

• Colour-odour: clear as water and odourless
• Viscosity index: Very High Viscosity Index ( 120 – 150 ) superior to standard mineral oils ( 80 – 120 )
• Oxidation stability and low volatility: Group III oils have a very high content of saturates, low evaporation rate for reduced oil consumption ( approx. 20% ).
• Toxicity: toxicity is much lower than standard hydro treated Group I mineral oils. For example, the content of Aromatics hydrocarbons (PCA) is < 300 ppm and they are also almost totally free of volatile organic compounds (VOC).
• Flash point: Flash point to 20°C to 50°C higher than conventional mineral oil of equivalent viscosity, reducing risk of fire especially in low viscosity applications.
• Fluidity : excellent low temperature fluidity, reduced filter material consumption.

HIGH PERFORMANCE CUTTING AND GRINDING OILS FROM RENEWABLE RESOURCES.

Based on selected esters and polar packages and designed for superior lubricity where vegetable products are desired.

NO LABELLING WITH NEW CLP REGULATION

According to the new CLP regulation (Classification, Labelling and Packaging of chemicals) the viscosity limit of 7 cSt  (mm²/s)  for mineral oils or mineral oils preparations  has been increased to 20.5 cSt (mm²/s) at 40°C.

From 1 June 2015 all neat cutting oils based on mineral oils or preparations containing more than 10% mineral oils with a viscosity below 20.5 cSt (mm²/s) at 40°C, are classified as Aspiration toxicity category 1 (H304, May be fatal if swallowed and enters airways)

Ester oil-based products are not affected by this classification regardless of the viscosity and provide at the same time a safer and high performance alternative.
